Who we are

AideWell is appointment-management software operated by EdgePoint Strategy LLC and used by wellness practices (“practices”) to manage client records, appointments, and appointment reminders. When you are a client of a practice that uses AideWell, your information is provided to us by that practice, which remains responsible for its relationship with you.

What we process

Contact details (name, phone, email), appointment history, and communication preferences your practice records - including your consent or refusal to be contacted by text or email. Health information your practice keeps in AideWell is protected under HIPAA; we act as the practice’s business associate, process it only to provide the service, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and log every access.

Text messaging (SMS)

Sharing

We share data only with the subprocessors needed to run the service (Microsoft Azure, including Azure Communication Services for messaging) under contracts that protect it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Retention & your choices

Records are retained as required by your practice’s legal obligations (HIPAA requires at least six years for some records). To access, correct, or delete your information, or to change how you’re contacted, contact your practice - staff can update your preferences immediately, and a permanent record of every consent change is kept.
